Who can learn Reiki and what are
the qualifications required for it?
Reiki can be learnt by any person who is willing to do so. It does not
require any qualifications. Even a 3 (Three) year old child can learn and
practice Reiki and can channel energy to himself and others.
What are benefits of Reiki?
The first thing an individual experiences after doing the course is, he
gets a very sound and calm sleep. Reiki affects each person differently,
but the common results which individuals achieve are :
How TRADITIONAL REIKI is learnt?
Reiki is learnt in 3 steps (degrees). Each degree is complete in itself.
The first degree seminar (approx. 18-20 hours) is spread over a period of
2 days. The Master activates certain energy centers of the student. The
process is known as initiation or attunement. After this process the
student can directly be in touch with this universal energy whenever he
wishes to, thereby healing himself and others. Doing the first degree
seminar one can heal oneself and others by personally laying the hands in
certain angles (positions), on certain parts of the body. After first
degree there is a second degree seminar for the deeper approach to the
universal energy. But it is not compulsary to do the second degree
semianar. First degree is a complete seminar by itself.
The 2nd degree seminar (approx. 7-8 hours) is spread over a period of 1
day. Again the Master activates certain more
energy centers of the student and he is
also given an access to certain key symbols, with the help of which he can
also do distance healing. On doing the 2nd degree his intuition and
telepathic ability increases. It also supports in his spiritual
development. 2nd degree can be done only after a gap of 21 days after
completing the 1st degree. It takes minimum 21 days for the cleaning of
the energy centers which are inside our body.
The 3rd degree seminar is only for those who want to move further deep in
this field and initiate new 1st and 2nd degree channels and new Masters.
This is the Masters degree. It requires a lot of training therefore no
fixed duration is given to complete this degree. Again this is done after
a minimum gap of 21 days after the completion of the 2nd degree. Once
again the master activates more
energy centers of the student.
On completion of each seminar the student is given a certificate stating
his level of achievement and also authorizing him to heal others. And on
completion of 3rd degree he is also authorized to initiate other
individuals.
